Identifying the optimum solution for the community is easy when you know how to use the tools, and we make sure we do. Using any of the commonly available software packages, AWT can build accurate and detailed hydrological and hydraulic models of sewer, stormwater, riverine, reservoir dam breaches and water supply.
AWT’s reservoir of modelling know-how includes:
- The combination of GIS and custom enterprise level database processing to provide detailed models for the price of skeletal models
- Inclusion of the entire infrastructure that makes up the network e.g. pipes, rivers / streams, flow paths, manholes, pumps etc.
- Data systems to seamlessly integrate data with our gauging team
- Re-calibration of models to ensure they are always up to date
This means you can count on our team to optimise your solution by:
- Being able to quickly and accurately delineate catchments to the inflow point of the hydraulic network
- Provide sufficiently detailed descriptions for inflow catchments
- Predicting the performance and operation of the hydraulic system under a range of conditions
- Leveraging off models which are scaleable and updatable – they can be extended as new catchment areas are created and data within existing areas can be improved progressively as necessary
