Intermediate and Senior Network Engineers / modellers – Auckland

AWT Water is a leading provider of hydraulic modelling services through our growing networks team based in Auckland. Our team is recognised as providing leading edge services in relation to stormwater, wastewater and water systems and networks. This includes a unique web-based model delivery platform which is revolutionising the communication and delivery of complex hydraulic issues
.

This role will involve both the management and implementation of projects focusing on network modelling for water, wastewater and stormwater systems, through to hydraulic design and construction administration. You will ideally be degree qualified civil, environmental or computer science engineer with experience with one or more of the industry standard modelling packages (InfoWorks, DHI MikeUrban, H2OMap etc.), such that you can work independently and technically lead junior modellers. Experience in the use of Arc GIS is essential.

For this role, you will require:

  • 4 plus years experience in the Water industry
  • A desire to develop or expand your Project Management skills 
  •  A desire to mentor and train junior staff 
  •  Exceptional customer skills 
  •  Hydraulic modelling experience and competence 
  •  Knowledge of hydraulics and engineering principles 
  •  Good report writing skills 
  •  High level of numeracy 
  •  BE / BSc / MSc degree.

Senior Mechanical Engineer– Water & Wastewater Treatment (Auckland)

You will be a technically focused degree qualified mechanical engineer who likes the detail. It is likely that you are a Chartered Professional Engineer, with 15 years + experience and preferably with experience in the water consulting sector. The role requires implementation of good design principles for water and wastewater engineering and review of detailed drawings.


The role requires:

  • Design management: responsible for leading the mechanical design teams with feasibility investigations, detailed designs and project implementation, including contract administration, monitoring and plant commissioning.
  • Engineering review
  • Strong project management and project delivery experience
  • Staff development: training and development of staff

 GRADUATE & INTERMEDIATE CIVIL/ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERS – AUCKLAND

AWT Water is a leading provider of water, wastewater and stormwater network planning and design through our growing networks team based in Auckland. Our team is recognised as providing leading edge services in relation to stormwater, wastewater and water systems and networks. This includes a unique web-based model delivery platform which is revolutionising the communication and delivery of complex hydraulic issues. We have two roles at a graduate and intermediate level focusing on network planning for water, wastewater and stormwater systems, civil design and construction administration. You will ideally be degree qualified civil or environmental engineer with an interest in hydraulics.

For this role, you will require: 

  • Exceptional customer skills
  • Knowledge of hydraulics and engineering principles
  • Good report writing skills
  • High level of numeracy
  • BE / ME degree
