 MT EDEN RESERVOIR – CFD ANALYSIS
The Mt Eden reservoirs are located on Mt Eden and are maintained by Kyber and Campbell Road Pump Stations. The reservoirs supply potable water to two supply zones covering the Auckland central suburbs, including the area surrounding Eden Park.
Further to the AWT Water design of the internal pipework layout being novated to the successful contractor, AWT Water were selected to undertake an analysis of the reservoir’s internal layout, and to analyse the benefits, or otherwise, of various baffle wall arrangements.

 MT EDEN RESERVOIR –PIPEWORK
As part of the Design Build Tender for the refurbishment of the Mt Eden reservoirs, AWT Water undertook the tender design of the internal pipework arrangement for the Mt Eden Reservoir.
The Mt Eden reservoirs are located on Mt Eden and are maintained by Kyber and Campbell Road Pump Stations. The reservoirs supply potable water to two supply zones covering the Auckland central suburbs, including the area surrounding Eden Park.

 MT HOBSON RESERVOIR AND PUMP STATION
The objective of this project was to develop optimal solutions for the operation of the Mt Hobson reservoirs and pump station.
The Mt Hobson High reservoirs are located on top of Mt Hobson and are maintained by Mt Hobson Low Pump Station. The Mt Hobson High reservoirs supply potable water to the Auckland suburbs of Newmarket, Remuera and Meadowbank. When the pumps are operating, water is supplied to Mt Hobson High reservoirs and Mt Hobson supply zone, with the Mt Hobson High reservoirs maintaining supply by gravity feed when the pumps are off.
